Summer Intensive Week and Camp

Summer Semester - Intensive Week

During the week-long Summer Intensive, students will receive daily lessons (5 total) and have the opportunity to work extensively on a summer project (a single piece, audition materials, completing a book, join a music club etc.) or just have a great time receiving a daily lesson. Ensemble coaching and chamber group lessons are also available. The intensive week is appropriate for students of all ages, as I can tailor the lesson to the student’s individual needs. 

  • Lessons are daily (Monday through Friday) at the same time.

  • 30, 45 or 60 minute lesson times available.

  • Available Times: 9-11:30AM and 1PM –7:30PM.

  • Pick any week (you may come to all!).

Summer Olympics in three Disciplines: Music Theory, Rhythm and Music History

Light your own Olympic flame in three disciplines: Music Theory, Rhythm and Music History. Students will compete against each other in theoretical concepts, performing rhythms and display their knowledge in music history. All activities are at varying levels, but at least one semester of previous music study is required. Who may take the gold medal home? This camp is for students in 1st – 12th grade. 

Exploring the Great Composers from Bach to Bartok

Travel back in time to the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary time periods and meet some of the world’s greatest composers! Learn historical events and listen to the musical style of the masters. Musical concepts, history and theory will be taught through activities such as games, crafts, listening and performances. Any child, ages 5 – 18, can participate, no formal music training required. Siblings may register as well.  

Musical Stories and Suites

Listen my children and take your seats, we’re going to have fun with musical stories and suites! Come meet The Nutcracker and Carnival of the Animals. Activities include a study of orchestral instruments, musical form, listening, games and arts & crafts. Learn historical events and listen to the musical style of the masters. Any student can participate, no formal music training required. Siblings may register as well. This camp is for students in 1st – 12th grade.
